BandLeap is an AI-assisted MUET writing practice tool operated by Dr. Ong JW, a licensed MUET teacher, for educational purposes. For any privacy-related matters, contact us at admin@bandleap.com.

• Full name and email address — collected at registration
• Essay text transcript — extracted from your uploaded photos by AI, then stored
• AI-generated feedback — linked to your account and submission history
• Consent record — the date and time you agreed to this notice, kept as evidence of consent

We do not store your essay photographs. Photos you upload are sent directly to the AI for analysis and immediately discarded — only the extracted text transcript and feedback are saved. We do not collect payment information, location data, or any data beyond what is listed above.

Your data is collected solely to provide you with automated MUET essay feedback. Essay photos are processed transiently — sent to the AI service, analysed, and discarded. The transcript and feedback are stored in your account so you can review your progress over time.

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the feedback service.

Before accessing BandLeap for the first time, you are presented with a consent screen summarising this notice and must actively agree before proceeding. The date and time of your consent is recorded. By consenting, you agree to your personal data being transferred to and processed in the United States as required for the service to function.

Your account data and submissions are kept for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, all your personal data and submissions will be permanently removed within 30 days.

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
• Request deletion of your account and all associated data
• Withdraw your consent at any time (by requesting account deletion)
• Limit the processing of your data in certain circumstances

MUET candidates may be under 18 years of age. If you are under 18, please ensure a parent or guardian has read this notice and consents to your use of BandLeap before you register.

We may update this notice from time to time. Any significant changes will be communicated via the email address on your account. Continued use of BandLeap after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
